He was born in an Igbo town of Atani in South Eastern Nigeria and he came from a line of singers and dancers in Igbo Land. His music genre was highlife and it consisted of various Igbo musical elements. He is among the best musicians of his time and was so popular amongst the Igbo people.
A lot of times he could be seen performing at nightclubs in Lagos, South Western Nigeria and gradually worked his way up to producing, recording and releasing his own debut album in 1958 titled Adamma.
This illustrious Nigerian musician was Born in 1936, precisely March and he was a true music cultural ambassador of the diverse culture of the Igbo people. His music often included songs about life and its various complexities of the Igbo of which tribe he belongs very much he constantly showcases in his music works.
Sprisal Entertainment music star Orezi drops the visuals to ‘Ogede’ featuring Starboy Entertainment boss, Wizkid and Egberi Papa 1, Timaya. ‘Ogede’ is a track on his recently released album ‘The Ghen Ghen’.

After releasing his debut album ‘Wazup Guy’ on the 30th of may, 2014, son of highly respected lawyer and activist (Femi Falana) and CEO Bahd Guys Records, Folarin Falana, populary known as Falz the bahd guy, dropped his sophomore album ‘Stories That Touch’ on the 16th of November 2015. Falz who has over time called his genre of music “wazup music” which is a mix of Hip-Hop, with Old school sound and funny lyrics.
The album, ‘Stories That Touch’ features some of Nigeria’s finest such as Oyinkansola, Phyno, Chigurl, Simi, Yemi Alade, Shaydee, Reminisce, Sess, Reekado Bank, Poe Chyn, Bez, M.I, Show Dem Camp and producers like Tin Tin, Oscar and Sess is with no doubt of the best albums this year, with massive reception and dope tracks.
The trio of Five Star Music, Kcee, Harrysong and Skiibii premieres its official video to recently released hit single ‘Ebeano’.
The hilarious video features Nollywood superstar Mike Ezuronye as he makes his first major music video appearance alongside Kenyan beauty Vera Sidika. The comic video was directed by Green Box and also co-directed by Mike Ezuronye.

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known as Wizkid is without doubt one Nigeria’s biggest artist. Born on the 16th of July 1989, the 26 year old songwriter and performer started as Lil Prinz before he rebranded his name in 2006 when his music career came into limelight. Wizzy recorded his first album at age 11, produced by OJB and it was released in Church.
The StarBoy Entertainment boss and Tania Omotayo’s boo, though controversial (Twit-fights, Baby Mama saga e.t.c), is one of Nigeria’s finest artist with many endorsements, several awards (both Local and International) and a very large fan base.
Throwing back to his first major album ‘Superstar’, obviously one of the best albums of all time in Nigeria, the album that skyrocketed him and his career and to me this album made some people believe they can also sing because Wizzy simplified a complex thing to do by breaking barriers with this album.

Mavins don come back again o, Supreme Mavin Dynasty presents new video by Dr Sid titled Kabiyesi. The song, produced by Don Jazzy has its video co-directed by Dr Sid and Adasa Cookey, the comic visual stars Frank Donga, who is in character as a friend of the Mavin star and together, they impersonate a ruling monarch at a traditional occasion.
